Principal Accountability
:
Marketing Research:

  • Partner in driving the strategic and operational planning process
  • Help Global business unit in identifying opportunities outside Pakistan
  • Develop the consumer & customer segment strategies in both local and global business
  • Validate the overall marketing strategy and plan against the consumer data
  • Improving our expert partner footprint both locally and outside Pakistan
  • Give directions to the Marketing and Sales team on where their respective brands are going vis-à-vis the desired position Media:
  • Leading portfolio media communications strategy development and ensure execution of plans in timely manner
  • Manage media budgets and execution of authorized plans for both online and offline, purchase orders and media payments. Approve Media billing and invoices for payment. Communicate with agencies and outside vendors for billing issues and dispute resolution
  • Manage all external agency partners and accountable for the integration of all communications partners internally and externally
  • Lead agencies in development & execution of best in class marketing channel communication plans that meet the brand marketing objectives with heavy emphasis on creative development
  • Partner with internal functions in PR, Trade Marketing, Brand activation & CR to ensure integration across all consumer touch points
  • Liaison with research department for consumer insights and develop learning plan for target insights and ongoing communications tracking
  • Look after media for export markets. Currently, working for Afghanistan being a strategic market for our main brands
  • Provide significant input into all media mix discussions and analysis with agencies and marketing floor.
  • Ensure strong negotiation resulting in breakthrough, efficient and effective media deals. Identify unique media buying opportunities. Negotiate directly with vendors for as and when required. Make decisions regarding spending levels and placement tactics
  • Pursue significant business opportunities and added-value programs via media partnerships. Infuse the media program with innovation and strategic vision
  • Overseeall media vendor relationships, media negotiations, and contractual agreements, partnering with other managers where appropriate
  • Develop best practices for media planning and buying processes, competitive media analysis, media cost and performance benchmarks, and media effectiveness. Provide tools and training to ensure brand teams and agencies apply best practices. Set and monitor media cost and performance benchmarks with agencies.
  • Analyze results of media efforts and develop measures of success. Ensure programs result in highest possible levels of business benefit
  • Maintain accurate spending forecasts and update as needed; manage all activity for media budget tracking

Brand Activation:

  • Activities conceived and implemented with the foci of generating awareness, visibility, trials and geared toward the building of brand salience
  • Stand alone activities of short duration that may be limited to internal participants or may include a broader spectrum of stakeholders and generally serve only a few specific objectives such as announcement, celebration, recognition, reward etc.
  • Managed participation in an Event being held by an external party/institution, having objectives which are shared and/or supported by company, by extending financial and/or logistical support and showcasing the company or a specific Brand at the event.
  • Ensure the necessary infrastructure and processes to deliver brand activation programs of Dairy, beverages, Ice Cream and Upcoming Projects attain business requirements nationally.
  • Amplify all market-based activities for all the brands of Dairy, Ice Cream and Upcoming Projects Liaise with Trade Marketing & Distribution function
  • To plan, implement, monitor and evaluate tactical consumer promotions for all brands in Dairy, Ice Cream and Upcoming Projects.
