Senior Audit Officer HTA Job in Karachi

Designation: Senior Audit Officer            

Industry: Petroleum                                      

Qualification: Part qualified Chartered Accountant, qualified ACCA / ACMA or Equivalent

Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities & Authorities:

• Support in preparation of audit plan and conduct audits as per schedule
• Support in development of audit reports based on functional and operational assessment
• Provide support in development, updating and review of all audit procedures and guidelines
• Prepare agenda and presentations for Board Audit committee
• Communicate Board Audit Committee decisions to concerned departments and conduct post audit reviews to determine extent to which recommendation have been implemented and incorporated.
• Undertakes relationship management with key counterparts and stakeholders both within  and outside the company
• Support in preparation of the annual budget
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards/policy
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required by the management

Skills and Competencies:

• Knowledgeable about internal audit processes, financial reporting standards and accounting concepts and principles
• Strong organizational and initiative taking skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
• Proficient in use of computer packages especially MS Office
• Ability to deliver work under pressure
• Well versed in written and spoken English / Urdu
