Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an annual plan for recruitment of blood donors, to meet TIH – BC’s Objectives.
  • Approach potential new and better blood donor groups through community interaction, targeted marketing, telephone and personal recruitment, online/print advertising and social media etc.
  • Be able to “sell” the blood center’s message and persuade people to donate blood or host a blood drive/camp.
  • Arrange daily blood collection camps with prior “Site blood collection goals”, in view of the needs / targets of the blood center
  • Assures that the site blood collection goals are achieved, then decide if changes need to be applied
  • Develop a “Permanent Donor Registry” in fixed “Donor Center Sites”.
  • Must be confident and determined that “Community is responsible for meeting its blood need” and must work assertively toward that end.
