Research Officer Grade I Al-Khawarizmi Institute UET Job in Lahore

Number of Vacancies: 2 Full Time   Qualification

Fresh or experienced candidates may apply. The candidate must have at least the following: 

• M.A. in Urdu
• Excellent Urdu vocabulary
• Some experience in Urdu grammar
• Fluent in use of computers, including, internet, emailing, document processing, Urdu typing

Experience

• M.Phil. degree in Urdu
• Excellent analytical skills
• Prior Research experience in Urdu linguistics
• Good knowledge of Persian and/or another Pakistani language(s)
• Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Research Officers for Urdu language are required to develop and review Urdu Linguistic Resources. Key responsibilities will include the following:

• Urdu Corpus Development and Annotation
• Linguistic Analysis of Urdu
• English-Urdu Translation
