Job Description
he Department of Chemistry, SBA School of Sciences and Engineering is seeking applications to fill in the position(s) of Research Assistant(s)/Fellow(s) to carry out research in the field of nanomaterials chemistry.
The responsibilities
The selected candidates will be expected to carry out the research projects involving synthesis and applications of nanomaterials, especially functionalized metal nanoparticles and nanclusters. Additional skills in synthetic organic chemistry would be useful to design and synthesize ligands for nanoparticles synthesis/functionalization. The selected RA/RF will also assist his/her supervisor in any other academic or official activities relevant to SBASSE Chemistry Department.
What are we looking for:
The applicant should have MS/MPhil degree in organic chemistry completed before August 25, 2013, with expertise in the synthesis, purification & characterization of organic compounds and possibly nanomaterials etc.
