Head of the Department, Nephrology

28 to 40

Knowledge Skills

Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office.
Performance driven under work pressure.

Job Responsibilities

Have sound knowledge of Nephrology and will be required to perform daily ward rounds of Inpatients and attending consults.
Able to cover Consultant Clinics and Emergency consults on behalf of attending Physician.
Will be on call off site.
Able to place double Lumen catheter independently and Renal Biopsies (under Supervision, if required).
Will be required to address issues related to dialysis patients, whenever referred by Dialysis Unit.
Will be required to look after both the On campus & Off campus dialysis facilities as scheduled by departmental head.
To manage Educational Sessions of the residents, as well as their rota, will be required to take didactic lectures of Post Graduate Trainees.
Should be Research oriented, will be required to engage himself / herself in conducting good quality research in the field of Nephrology.
Perform any other task assigned by the Head of Department.
