Job Description:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science/ IT Discipline or equivalent from a reputed university.
Minimum three (03) years experience as a QA Officer/Engineer/Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, designing, and providing technical leadership for software QA testing and quality improvements.
- Reviewing high level and detailed functional and requirement specifications.
- Designing and developing QA test plans based upon functional and technical specifications.
- Maintaining and reviewing QA test plans, test data, and test cases.
- Executing software QA test cycles, regression testing, record results and report defects.
- Analyzing reported bugs and working with developers, project manager, and user services to resolve bugs in CMS.
- Executing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Being responsible for following SDLC and QA testing processes, QA methodology, and QA best practices.
- Being responsible for determining test strategy for QA projects.
- Determining internal and external resource needs and leads project planning.
- Tracking and reporting test results in formal fashion and communicate test status and issue effectively.
- Effectively directing testing efforts of QA projects.
- Evaluating Quality risk for application changes/fixes.
- Designing, developing and maintaining testing tools, methods and practices.
- Planning daily activities and reporting project status.

Ineligibility:-
- 3rd div in academic career;
- NUST employees with less than 02 years of service with NUST;
- In process of pursuing a degree.
