Job Description:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science/ IT Discipline or equivalent from a reputed university.
Minimum three (03) years experience as a QA Officer/Engineer/Analyst.
Responsibilities:
– Planning, designing, and providing technical leadership for software QA testing and quality improvements.
– Reviewing high level and detailed functional and requirement specifications.
– Designing and developing QA test plans based upon functional and technical specifications.
– Maintaining and reviewing QA test plans, test data, and test cases.
– Executing software QA test cycles, regression testing, record results and report defects.
– Analyzing reported bugs and working with developers, project manager, and user services to resolve bugs in CMS.
– Executing and maintaining automated test scripts.
– Being responsible for following SDLC and QA testing processes, QA methodology, and QA best practices.
– Being responsible for determining test strategy for QA projects.
– Determining internal and external resource needs and leads project planning.
– Tracking and reporting test results in formal fashion and communicate test status and issue effectively.
– Effectively directing testing efforts of QA projects.
– Evaluating Quality risk for application changes/fixes.
– Designing, developing and maintaining testing tools, methods and practices.
– Planning daily activities and reporting project status.
Candidates are required to get their degrees verified from HEC/the Concerned Institution and will attach Scanned copies of their documents (Academics/Professional) along with their CVs.
Ineligibility:-
– 3rd div in academic career;
– NUST employees with less than 02 years of service with NUST;
– In process of pursuing a degree.
