Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum of Master’s degree in Geophysics or related discipline, advanced degree preferred.
- At least 10 years working experience as a Processing Geophysicist in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of 2D and 3D Seismic Data up-to Pre Stack Time and Depth Migration.
- Liaison closely with colleagues to ensure that the Processing results meet their requirements.
- Provide Geophysical support for the Seismic Acquisition Group.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience of time and depth processing of 2D, 3D Seismic Land Data.
- In-depth knowledge of Seismic Signal Processing and Imaging.
- Extensive experience of using the Processing Software products like Omega and CGG Geovation.
- Good experience of static/velocity model building and depth imaging.
- Understanding of seismic analysis techniques including AVO, Inversion and Reservoir Characterization Methods.
- Good knowledge of VSP Processing methods.
- Understanding of Multi-Component and azimuthal Processing Techniques.
- Knowledge of Processing Hardware.
- Mentor the Junior Processors.
- Knowledge of structural geology, petroleum geology, geophysical and subsurface mapping techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skill with the ability and desire to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong presentation, written and communication skills.
