Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Know-how of how the web works
First hand experience and troubleshooting of Networks
Advance level user in Linux/Unix operating system (knowledge of BSD systems is a plus)
Knowledge and experience of Firewalls (pfSense), Mail servers, DNS, Web Hosting, Cloud computing
MySQL replication knowledge is preferred but not required
Monitoring of remote services - Strong Troubleshooting skills
Security and Server hardening experience
Knowledge of at least one virtualization technology (OpenVZ, KVM, XEN, VMware)
Eager to learn Open Source based systems
Ability to learn and grow
Self learner and initiator
Good Risk assessment qualities
Certifications in Linux/Unix would be a plus but not required
CCNA/CCNP good but not required
