MANAGER (ADMIN) – LUMS CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP (LCE) LUMS JOBS IN LAHORE

 Lahore University of management Sciences (LUMS) is looking for Manager (Admin) for the newly formed LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship (LCE). This role supports the executive director of the center in all administrative tasks or as assigned by the executive director. The Manager (Admin) will ensure smooth operations of the center including facility management, logistics, operations, and accounts. This is a full-time contractual appointment for an initial period of two years , renewable as determined by the administration of the Center.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Implementing and managing the budget of the Center
  • Overseeing the general maintenance of all facilities of the Center through effective supervision of the operations team and working with the rest of the university offices
  • Design work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet the changing requirements
  • Coordinate with internal offices as well as external contractors and vendors to help complete Center activities
  • Suggest and develop new proposals for improving the overall operations of the Center including infrastructure upgrades and process automation
  • Supervise general administrative and support services
  • Monitor, measure, report, and address HR issues and personnel forecasts
  • Advocate, promote, and implement a healthy, safe and creative work environment
  • Ensure that operational and capital expenditures are in line with the approved budgets and provide monthly management and expenditure reports
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements regarding finances, procurement, and employment
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the executive director of the Center

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience with operations and management especially in a university setting
  • Excellent team building and managing abilities
  • Get-it-done attitude with very strong decision making abilities
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to negotiate on cost, quality, and timeliness
  • Thorough understanding of all processes related to administration
  • Masters or a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from HEC recognized institute.
  • 8 – 10 years of relevant work experience with significant experience at managerial level.
