Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Head Nurse.

Responsibilities

The position reports to the Nursing Manager and the incumbent will be responsible for providing leadership in executing quality patient care, mentoring nursing workforce, coordinating with clinicians/multidisciplinary and striving for continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) and Diploma in Midwifery from an accredited nursing school/college
Minimum five years of clinical experience including one year at as Assistant Head Nurse level or equivalent
Valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), safe medication administration and I/V cannulation
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
