HEAD FACILITIES AND ENGINEERING LUMS JOB IN LAHORE
Overseeing Facilities and Engineering department.
Main Responsibilities
- Overseeing Facilities and Engineering sections involving Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, HVAC and Energy Management System.
- Operation and maintenance of 132KV Grid station, Gas & Diesel Generators, Solar System and Central HVAC Plants
- Upkeep & Maintenance of all facilities in Academic & Residential buildings to the best standards
- Keep close liaison with all departments and provide support in planning and execution of new projects
- Coordinating, monitoring work progress & capital spending and providing periodic updates to the senior management through presentations
- Ensuring optimum energy utilization with available resources
- Delivering engineering services for improving the University's infrastructure and providing consultation to NMF on projects
- Adjusting budgets/schedules/workloads/resource requirements as necessary to accomplish deliverables within the University requirements and policy
- Working as a liaison with Government agencies regarding administrative matters.
- Responsible for meeting all SHE (safety, Health & Environment) standards and ensuring functioning & revalidating of Fire Alarm System, Fire Hydrants & Fire extinguishers.
Requirements:
- Masters or a four-year Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
- At least 10to 15 years of relevant work experience with significant experience at a managerial level preferably in universities .
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Strong English/Urdu communication skills
- Good networking and analytical abilities
- Time management
