Industry: Power Generation

Qualification: Electrical Engineering degree

Experience: Minimum of 12 years field experience in the maintenance in oil and gas or petrochemical industry with experience in high voltage power generation and high and low voltage power distribution systems.

Responsibilities & Authorities:

Personal involvement and supervise all Electrical maintenance activities at central facility and wellheads.
To ensure efficient running and maintenance of gas turbine and compressor auxiliaries.
To ensure efficient maintenance of generators, GIS, HV & LV switchgears, transformers, motor control centers, battery chargers, UPS
Maintain the housekeeping and orderliness of electrical workshop.
Provide hands-on guidance to sub-ordinates as and when required.
Review spares required for the corrective and preventive maintenance.
Co-ordinate with Warehouse and SC for the improvement of inventory system.
Review all the Preventive Maintenance procedures critically and to develop procedures for each maintenance activity.
Assist Planning Department to prepare all the necessary paper work for shutdown related works.
Should be involved in major maintenance works such as shutdown, overhauling of generators and other works assigned to him.
To provide on job training and guidance for subordinates
To monitor equipment performance using built in techniques to establish the most cost effective maintenance program.
