Responsibilities & Authorities:
- Develop GIS database for use in the implementation of electrical facilities, develop computer interfacing, data conversion, data collection and processing
- Developing base map and electrical network
- Collection of data on field
- Conduct complex analysis using ArcGIS in a variety of projects ranging from network analysis to Address Matching for trouble calls
- Fulfill the requirement to internal and external projects, which have a GIS component
Skills and Competencies:
- Must have the understanding of GIS fundamental concepts such as projection, coordinate system, scale, resolution, data formats
- Must have knowledge of ESRI suite of products especially ArcGIS, Geometric Network
- Must have the theoretical knowledge of GPS and related surveys
- Must have the knowledge of the GIS standards, specifications and GPS field survey processes
- Should have analytical and strong problem solving skills
- Able to work under tight schedule to meet deadlines and achieve targets
