General Manager – Environmental and Social Management Job in Islamabad

Designation: General Manager – Environmental and Social Management

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Environmental and Management Sciences or related disciplines

Experience: 10 or more years of experience

Responsibilities & Authorities:

• Reporting directly to the Head of Department
• Should have implementation knowledge of ISO Environment Management System
• Help in integration of environmental and social parameters in upcoming MIS and lead team to ensure implementation of ESMF through Operational Units and Partner Organizations
• The role requires a strategic thinker having high quality hands-on experience in monitoring and project evaluation, fabricates high level of capacity building of operational Units and partner organizations staff by identifying and responding to and reporting on various environmental and social issues
• Participate in the Environmental and Social Audits, and review all ESA reports for quality assurance
• Prepare reports and review contents of quarterly and annual progress reports for ESMF enforcement and compliance
• Serve as a focal person for environmental dimensions of organization’s operations with donors

• Must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal & communication skills and timely responses to inquiries.
• Must possess strong analytical and experience of managing team(s).
