Designation: External Legal Counsel (Inquiry Officer)

Industry: Power Generation

Location: Karachi

Qualification: Graduate, preferably majors in Law

Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a similar position

Contractual Position

Responsibilities & Authorities:
- Issue Inquiry Notices to the delinquent employees
- Conduct domestic inquiries on alleged misconduct by management/non-management employees and submit subsequent inquiry reports
- Appear before company’s advocates in connection with litigation cases (on call)
- Assist and undertake any task as assigned by DGM – Legal and DD – HR/IR
Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication and writing skills
- Good probing and analytical skills
- Understanding of legal implications and Labor Laws
- Ability to work within defined timelines with proactive approach
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office
