Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Management of VC’s schedule and appointments
  • Take and relay accurate and timely messages from telephone callers, emails and answer queries where required
  • Take minutes of all meetings (Liaise with relevant individuals, internal/external organisations to arrange meetings, prepare agendas and draft minutes)
  • General correspondence /dictation on variety of matters related to the VC office
  • Screen and route mail and documents
  • Short hand skills and ability to transcribe audio notes to documents; draft, type and dispatch all the VC’s correspondence
  • Perform responsible administrative and secretarial duties of complex and confidential nature
  • Manage, maintain and prepare office files and other secretarial work in a confidential manner
  • Attending to local and foreign visitors
  • Any other duty assigned by the VC

Requirements:

  • Four years of Bachelors or Masters degree from an HEC recognized institution;
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Strong communication and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office; and
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
