To assist in the field operation & maintenance activities at different Wi-MAX co-locations.

Regular Duties & Responsibilities:

Commissioning & troubleshooting of Wi-MAX Microwave equipment.
Commissioning & trouble shooting of CISCO routers & switches.
PM of Telecom equipment as per company standards.
Installation & commissioning of External alarms & verification.
Act on network performance anomalies and alarms and track their resolution.
Maintain a high proficiency in the use of multiple computer applications and equipment.
Maintain a high proficiency in the use of specialized, laboratory grade wireless technology.
Test equipment.
Provide recommendations to network engineering staff on implementation and optimization issues.
Coordinate and verify contractor services to maintain the physical integrity of cell sites and power systems.
Investigate internal and external customer complaints.
Must be committed to be available on 24x7 bases to meet the requirement of Field Operations.

Knowledge & Competencies:

Knowledge of Wi-MAX, GSM, Microwave and transmission technology.
Knowledge of IP, VOIP, routers & switches.
Knowledge of transmission technologies & equipment.
Knowledge of test instruments.
Works independently in a self-managing environment, prioritizes and carries out routine and non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.

Education & Work Experience:

Fresh graduate of Telecom or relevant engineering background with strong knowledge of Wi-MAX / GSM Environment.
CCNA certification or training would be a plus.
