Driver Job Islamabad Norwegian Refugee Council
Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has been present in Pakistan since 2002 assisting conflict and previously assisted earthquake arid flood-affected population in Northern Pakistan.
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Drive NRC vehicles competently and safely in accordance with national regulations and NRC guidelines in the provinces of Pakistan
- Uphold contact with the Security Officer while in mission at all times by radio and phone
- React appropriately and intelligently to unexpected events, including provide basic first aid if necessary
- Maintain vehicle logs, documentation and emergency equipment
- Preventive vehicle maintenance as directed in regulations, including cleaning
- Any other tasks assigned by line supervisor
- Completion of secondary or high school, and current driving license
- Basic English speaking and understanding skills
- 3 to 5 years driving experience in cities and on highways
- Knowledge of vehicle repair will be an advantage
- Must be very familiar with Islamabad city
- Driving Skills as per Motorways/NHA guidelines
