Job Description:

To Plan and prepare the product development trainings schedule
To develop new design patterns and grade the patterns of different sizes
Conduct Business Management Skill Training (BMST) in coordination with Business Development Officer
To support the trainer in preparation of raw material requirement list
Designer will be responsible to prepare training plans, to lead and complete the trainings as per training plans/schedules
To provide marketable designs (segment, price and quality wise)
To suggest cost effective and equality raw materials to the trainers and admin section
To work with other team members/ design and complete various product development assignments in cluster
To work with master trainer for sample development prior trainings and production work to check the practicality of products
To work with project beneficiaries and suggest them about designing techniques
To support the Business Development Officer (BDO) in order to market the designs/products towards business generation
Document the data of Skill Assessment and maintaining record of trainings, product development, designs etc
Develop series new designs and develop market linkages

Skills:

Have full command on developing and using various computer programmes
Prior knowledge about handicrafts sector especially in Ralli/ Basketry/ Product finished craft preferable
Willing to travel in rural areas of interior Sindh / Project areas
Good communication and motivation skills
Result oriented
Ability to work under pressure and meet with deadlines
