Deputy Director Legal PHC Job in Lahore Job Responsibilities:

Draft rules and regulations under the Act for different Directorates of PHC
Advise the Chief Operating Officer on legal matters especially issues relating to medical Jurisprudence, complaints, patient rights etc.
Advise on methodology for communication and documentation of results of complaints to the complainants and healthcare delivery organizations
Advise on contract/agreement development
Handle/Advise on litigation matters and represent PHC in Courts of competent jurisdiction, if required
Advise on matters of jurisdiction of PHC under the Act vis-à-vis other federal and provincial legislations
Liaise with relevant Directorates for giving legal input in development of documents e.g. Patient Rights & Complaints
Defend legally the good name and values of the organization
Meet agreed commitments as set out in the annual performance agreement
Responsible for any other assignment(s) given by the management.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

LLB degree from an HEC recognized institute of a good repute. Candidates with LLM degree will be preferred
Candidates with additional qualifications in medical jurisprudence will be preferred
At least 10 years of relevant work experience
Well versed in drafting/interpreting rules and regulations governmental rules and regulations
Understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of the Commission
Willingness to devote the necessary time and effort
Ability to think creatively
Strong computer literacy
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Self-motivated, flexible and cooperative
Ability to multitask, ability to work under pressure
