Experience: 2 to 4 years

Responsibilities & Authorities:

• Handle day-to-day systems operations of Microsoft SharePoint systems / servers, trouble-shooting and incident management.
• Able to identify requirements, technical feasibility and effort estimates of projects.
• Responsible for end to end management of a project from inception to closure.
• Assess business requirements and consult on functional specifications.
• Architect and design SharePoint environments for maximum flexibility, reliability and scalability.
• Define and implement required changes to governance model.
• Provide expertise, lead technical meetings, and communicate effectively with different development teams and departments.
• Provide project management and subject matter expertise for platform.
• Formulate custom, client specific solutions including where necessary integration of third party packages.
• Coordinate with vendors depending on scope of project.
• Maintain good technical skills in DBMS, products, utilities, protocols and techniques.
• Knowledge of Backup solutions i.e. VERITAS/net backup.
• Ensure quality of technical solution and architecture.
• Ensure continuous IT services delivery to support day to day business operations.

Skills and Competencies:

• Experience of designing / developing SharePoint 2010 applications.
• Recent experience of development against the SharePoint .NET API.
• Development of custom application pages, features, web parts, event handlers, WF workflows, timer Jobs and other SharePoint development tasks.
• Experience developing InfoPath forms.
• Ability to write technical and end user documentation including test plans, scripts and training material.
• Ability to deal with and manage conflicting priorities whilst building successful business relationships across a range of stakeholder groups.
• SharePoint Administrations and Development.
• Development against the SharePoint .NET API
• Industry certification, Any Microsoft certification especially in MS SharePoint 2010 (Administration/Development) will be a plus.
