Assistant Professor Paediatric Neurology Aga Khan Jobs in Pakistan Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor or Senior Instructor, Paediatric Neurology. Responsibilities

The incumbent will be expected to:

• provide accessible, compassionate, ethical and evidence-based care to patients in an academic setting
• conduct outpatient clinics and manage in-patient neurology paediatric service
• conduct research by defining a research project, securing a competitive grant for it, undertaking research, synthesizing research findings, and publishing and disseminating the conclusions to a wider audience
• formulate the objectives of a course and appropriate instructional strategies, teach effectively as well as evaluate the recipients and the course
• teach and train undergraduates and postgraduates according to the defined standards and curriculum
• participate in national and international academic medical education conferences and symposiums
• participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement activities.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

• a medical degree from a recognized institution with a valid PMDC license
• completed structured postgraduate training in general paediatrics and paediatric neurology and possess FCPS, MRCP, American Board or equivalent qualifications
• demonstrated scholarship through research and publications in peer reviewed indexed journals.

Additionally, candidates for Assistant Professor should have at least two years’ experience as Senior Instructor or equivalent in a reputable institution.
