Assistant Manager Strategic Planning UBL Bank Jobs Pakistan

Total Position: Two Job Type Permanent Job Location: Karachi Minimum Education: Preferably have a master’s degree in business or comparable commercial discipline Minimum Experience: 2 plus years management experience in similar or comparable role in a demanding service environment. Must be conversant with worldwide best practices on Project management. Eligibility: • Ability to switch roles, shift priorities to meet new challenges in a changing environment. • Displays and promotes a visible sense of urgency. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Result oriented and some one who leads from the front. • High level of personal accountability for results. Job Summary: This position is accountable for facilitating assigned business groups in implementing key initiatives on time and on budget. The incumbent works in close coordination with business project owners and support functions to define scope of work, and serve as early warning mechanism for highlighting and escalating possible roadblocks. Key Responsibilities: •Maintaining a list of assigned key initiatives for the business group. •Assisting business owners in defining scope of work for each project, identifying task owners and defining timelines. •Developing and agreeing project plan (Gantt charts). •Managing planning and problem-solving tasks and escalation to the Project Lead of risks to achieving project goals or deadlines. •Support the Project Lead in the successful implementation of the projects. •Maintaining up to date key performance and control indicators.
