Job Detail
  • Assistant Manager Procurement
    • Designation: Assistant Manager Procurement                           

      Location: Karachi

      Qualification: Bachelors with relevant experience, preferably MBA from an accredited local or foreign Institute.

      Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in industry. Use of SAP MM will be a plus.

      Responsibilities & Authorities:

      • Execute plans and strategies for all types of procurement and ensure their timely and cost effective purchase at optimum stock levels
      • Implement comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow purchasing manuals for the local procurement and import of the Raw Materials, Machinery & equipment.
      • Manage vendors to ensure good strategic vendor relations, availability of multiple sources of procurement on best possible procurement terms
      • Ensure material procurement for optimum yield.
      • Develop cordial business relationships with representatives of suppliers, and other external business contacts through the most efficient use of resources
      • Participate in the development of specification for equipment and products
      • Carry out Daily operations to ensure smooth availability of material in given time lines.
      • Any other tasks given by the management.

      Skills and Competencies:

      • Knowledge of Contracts, RFQs, LCs
