Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager, Operating Room.
Responsibilities The successful applicant will be a dynamic team leader and innovative head responsible for managing day to day nursing related activities; providing credible and reliable supervision and support to nursing leadership in patient care/ quality management; overseeing and participating in strategic planning process; coordinating and managing administrative activities and contributing to overall policy formulation of Nursing Division with particular focus on operating room. Requirements Applicant should have:
- BScN from a recognized school of nursing; Masters would be preferred
- valid registration from Pakistan Nursing Council
- Certification in Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, Paediatric Advance Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation, Safe Medication Administration and Intravenous Cannulation
- 6-8 years of clinical/administrative experience
- knowledge of resource management theory and practice
- leadership skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- excellent skills in adult teaching/learning principles
