ASSISTANT MANAGER HOSTELS LUMS JOB IN LAHORE

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure residents abide hostel rules and regulations
• Maintain equipment of the hostel in good operational position
• Supervise and attend social activities organized by the Housing Office.
• Carry out regular security and fire safety checks throughout the buildings.
• Explain the hostel rules to residents and ensure the safety of the hostel and residents by ensuring that hostel rules regarding visitors, noise etc. is maintained.
• Deal with and respond appropriately to any residents’ requests for practical advice.
• Respond to and deal with any incidents or problems, contacting and liaising with association on-call staff and contacting emergency services etc. as necessary.
• Keep resident files up to date regarding any needs or incidents.
• Ensure that all necessary repairs of buildings or equipment are promptly reported.
• Liaison with and supervise all repair and maintenance of all hostel buildings.
• Provide new residents with introductory tours of the accommodation, including communal areas, and provide a full explanation of both the facilities available and conditions of occupancy.
• Effectively monitor rent and service charge accounts using computerized systems in accordance with set policies and procedures.
• Conduct periodic room checks of resident’s rooms in relation to adherence to Policy and take appropriate action where necessary.

Take appropriate action when the safety or security of the hostel or its residents is threatened.

Skills and Attributes:

Qualification: 4 years Bachelor’s degree and Masters from HEC-recognized institute

Experience: 4-5 years of relevant work experience
