      Qualification: BE Electrical

      Experience: 5 year experience of grid station maintenance

      Responsibilities & Authorities:

      • Assign work to Assistant Manager & supervise their work:
        • To monitor & maintain conventional switch-gear, gas insulated switch-gear, power transformers, auto-transformers, instrument transformers, control gear, control panels, bus-bar systems, lightening-arrestors, battery-banks, battery chargers, AC/DC panels, measuring/recording instruments, capacitor-banks, HVAC systems, compressors, station lighting & station earthing.
        • Test circuit breakers & transformer protections.
        • Maintain transformer oil & forced cooling system of transformers.
        • Perform troubleshooting of equipment & control systems
        • Perform  post fault maintenance of equipment
        • Replace obsolete equipment
      • Document maintenance work.
      • Carry out factory inspection of equipment
      • Co-ordinate & interact with Load Dispatch Center, Protection Section, Project Implementation Department & Operation Section of Distribution Divisions.
      • Co-ordinate with Civil Department & Communication & Wireless Department for implementation of civil works & air-conditioning work of grid stations
      • Prepare material requirement for maintenance work
      • Maintain & keep test equipment in working order
      • Maintain Operation & Maintenance Manuals & Drawings
