Introduction
Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Instructor.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Provide safe, competent, individualized nursing care to patients ranging from basic to complex, including imparting patients/family education and support
- To identify staff learning needs, develop and implement appropriate teaching sessions to enhance knowledge and skills and coach novice nursing staff to intensify their competencies and knowledge
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Diploma in Nursing and Diploma in Midwifery from an accredited school; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) would be preferred
- At least two years of experience in clinical teaching in maternal and child care areas
- Valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
- Certification in BLS, safe medication administration, I/V cannulation, ECG and CTG interpretation and aseptic techniques
- Possess multidisciplinary approaches in delivery of patient care and staff development
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
