  • To report breaking news and follow up the further details. 
  • Rewrite news in the easiest possible words.
  • To select headlines for a piece of news.
  • Research before working on special reports.
  • To check news for bias.
  • Check facts and background information before filing news story.
  •  Translating from Urdu to English and create write ups and new features.
  • To coordinate with graphic designers for relevant pictures with stories.
  • Keeping up to date with stories appearing in the TV channels and other news sources.
